Balance – this is where we a going with Qigong!

Here is quote from Ray Griggs’ great book The Tao of Zen which I think describes what excellent qigong practice is.
“Balance is really balancing, not a static state but a dynamic process. It is a condition of perpetual arriving, of continual changing that is always adjusting to the shifting flow of circumstances. When Balancing becomes a reflexive reaction rather than a considered response, it is experienced as a stillness in the center of movement.”

The Powers of the Universe – How does this relate to Qigong?

Further to my first post on cosmology Seamlessness check this out! Centration the first cosmological power. Centration is the universe centering upon itself to give birth to a new being, a new animal, a new molecule. This may be what the Taoists meant by the ten thousand things that were created when Yin and Yang were created, or Primordial Qi, what you inherited from your parents. That genetic information compressed into molecular form in each of your cells. This may also be related to our power to act. It is my theory that this is one of the forms of energy that we are working with in the practice of Qigong. One form could be the Sun’s energy which is created by hydrogen atoms created by the birth of the universe. What the Taoists called heaven energy. Any comments?

Integral Qigong Approach

Our approach is unique in that we teach traditional imagery from Taoist and Buddhist practice, combined with Western Medical concepts for real understanding of why qigong works. Then we encourage you to make the practice your own by using your own intuition to come up with your own imagery to activate your imagination creating your personal Mind Body Spirit connection empowering you to control your own health.
